Studio Dimore

I’ve decided over the next few weeks to do some posts with the a few interiors that I find most inspiring.

This one immediately comes to mind as one of my absolute favorites.

I love the light, candles, table, grand but shabby surroundings and colours. This exudes calm sophisticated simplicity, it looks timeless.

But I am actually not sure that this is a real room. It could be a promotional image for an Italian furniture maker and interior designers – Studio Dimore.

Over the past few months I have been pinning lots of images that U loved to realise later that so many of them are works of Studio Dimore.

Here is some brief information on what they are that I’ve taken from their website:

“Dimore Studio was founded by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran out of an explicit need to create a more sophisticated identity, primarily for those wishing to distinguish themselves by crossing over boundaries momentarily en vogue. By avoiding the use of superfluous or provocative forms we are able to create an identity with a strong impact, consisting of simple and sophisticated signs, evocative of far-off and distant times, counterpoised between softness and rigidity, light and dark.

The final result is both to create a solid identification for our clients and clearly classify them in an ever-increasingly ambiguous market. Our studio’s creative atmosphere is dedicated to finding a harmonious coexistence amongst design, art, architecture and fashion. We collaborate within both the fashion and furniture fields, as well as, with individual clients who wish to interpret and turn their own ideas into reality.”

Below are a few more illustrations of their incredible designs. I would be happy to live in any of these rooms.
